IMPLEMENTASI PEMBELAJARAN DENGAN MEDIA KARIKATUR PADA KEGIATAN MENULIS SISWA

Abstract
Various learning problems in the classroom can be overcome by improving the quality of the learning process, one of which is by using learning media, learning media is a tool to convey a message to the reader or recipient. In learning activities media is one of the tools to achieve learning objectives. This research was conducted at SDN Dabasah 4 Bondowoso. The research objectives are as follows: (1) describe the implementation of learning with caricature media in students' writing activities, (2) describe the benefits of using caricature media in students' writing activities and (3) obstacles and learning solutions using caricature media in students' writing activities. This study uses qualitative research because the object under study takes place in a natural and natural setting and aims to know, understand carefully and more deeply about how to implement essay writing learning using caricature media. The implementation of learning to write essays with caricature media got good results with what was expected by the teacher, among others; 1) Learning is more interesting and not monotonous, 2) Teaching methods become more varied and reduce student boredom, 3) Students find it easier to get vocabulary when writing essays, and 4) Positive attitude. The obstacles to implementing learning using caricature media include; 1) Students still have difficulty in organization, the writing of students is less organized and neat, 2) There are some students in participating in learning that lack concentration (3) The image only displays eye sense perception but the vocabulary obtained is limited to the visible image, (4) The message conveyed communicative but can also create other perceptions for the viewer..
