Abstract
Extracurricular activities are activities that are outside the program written in the curriculum, such as leadership training and student coaching. It is hoped that this extracurricular study of the study of the book of Fathul Qarib can be useful for increasing in-depth knowledge of students about Islamic jurisprudence and Islamic law and being able to apply them in their daily lives. The approach in this study is to use a qualitative approach, a method based on post-positivism philosophy, used to examine natural object conditions (as opposed to experiments), where research is the key instrument, and data collection techniquescarried out in a triangulation (combined) manner, data analysis is inductive/qualitative in nature, the results of qualitative research emphasize meaning rather than generalization. The aim of the study was to analyze the planning, implementation, and extracurricular evaluation of the study of the Fathul Qarib book in increasing students’ understanding of the procedures for fardhu prayers at MA Nahdlatul Ulama LombokWetan Wonosari Bondowoso for the 2022/2023 academic year. In the research, the research wanted to emphasize the idea of the existence of an axracurricular learning study of the Fathul Qarib book by examining the implementation of the extracurricular, based on stages such as planning, implementing and evaluating the results of the application of learning. With this research strategy, it is hoped that it will make it easier for researchers to understand research in depth and comprehensively, so that at the end of the research it can provide an idea and provide recommendation to each educational institution to improve quality standardsthe development of students in studying fiqh and Islamic sharia law by holding a similar kind of extracurricular.
