Abstract

Problems with university collaboration with business and the market in 2023, there are several possible problems that may arise in the future related to this collaboration, which could come from a lack of business involvement in the higher education curriculum development process. Universities are expected to produce graduates who have skills relevant to the world of work. However, if business is not involved in the development process in the curriculum development process, then it could be that college graduates do not have the skills required by the job market. there is no match between graduate skills and business needs Even though business is involved in the curriculum development process, if there is no good communication between universities and business, then graduates may not have skills that match business needs. The method used to conduct this research uses library research, while collecting data through related references, both offline and online. The data obtained is then processed to be more complete and up to date. Data analysis uses analysis through various related literature. The results of this study indicate that collaboration between lecturers and students is needed for the advancement of educational institutions and the quality of graduates from tertiary institutions so that they can provide benefits for all parties, such as advances in innovation, human resource development, and increased competitiveness. There are several business collaboration techniques between lecturers and students, including: Joint research projects. apprenticeship programme. Project cooperation and exchange of ideas. Facilities that need to be prepared by universities to support innovation include: creative space, research laboratories, and innovation centers.
