PENDAMPINGAN PENCEGAHAN PENYEBARAN COVID-19 MELALUI PROGRAM TUTOR SEBAYA SANTRI PENDIDIK DI MA’HAD ALY PONDOK PESANTREN SALAFIYAH SYAFIIYAH

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought about changes in various sectors of life. The pesantren education sector is no exception. Education at Mahad Aly Islamic Boarding School Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Sukorejo continues by implementing health protocols according to government regulations. As an effort to strengthen and oversee the COVID-19 prevention program, mentoring with a model (peer education) is needed. The strategy is carried out by strengthening peer tutors, training peer tutors, evaluating and monitoring implementation with the direct participation of mentors. The results of the implementation of mentoring showed an increase in the motivation of peer tutor students in escorting the Covid-19 prevention protocol at Mahad Aly. This increase has an impact on the level of participation and understanding in implementing health protocols according to government standards.
