GERAKAN LITERASI PELOSOK NEGERI MELALUI RUMAH CERDAS “SOKO RAUNG” DI DUSUN TOLTOL TIMUR KABUPATEN BONDOWOSO

Abstract

The implementation of this service is in the East Toltol Hamlet, Rejoagung Village, Sumber Wringin Bondowoso District. The people of East Toltol Hamlet, Sumber Wringin Village, Bondowoso Regency, most of the people are not highly educated and their economic level is still low. Besides that, the literacy culture is low which has an impact on the desire to continue higher education. Therefore, innovative actions are needed in realizing a high literacy culture by presenting the "Soko Raung" smart house which was initiated by "Bondowoso Young Volunteers". This program is to build reading house facilities and facilitate the community, especially children, to read with the presence of reading books. This service uses a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach. The result of this service is to build a Smart House "Soko Raung" as a facility for village children to explore knowledge and play together.
