Abstract

Seeing the large number of brown sugar producers and dragon fruit farmers in Kandangan Village, besides contributing to a prosperous economy for the surrounding community. From this a thought emerged to process the two ingredients into a food product with higher economic value. And took the initiative to process the brown sugar and dragon fruit into economical products.With proper processing, will have good prospects.

The strategy used in this service is the PAR (Participation Action Research) method, which is Economic-Based Community Service, namely providing assistance to the community in Kandangan Village, especially Krajan hamlet.

After observing and implementing community service programs in Kandangan Village, it can be identified that there is a lot of potential that can be developed in Kandangan Village, one of which is brown sugar and dragon fruit.

after community empowerment through the use of brown sugar and dragon fruit into sweets to increase the selling value of red guala and dragon fruit in Kandangan Village which began with training and outreach to the community, especially PKK mothers as a way to increase people's income, and their willingness to entrepreneurship so as to increase independent and prosperous Human Resources.
